On March 19, a Groundbreaking Ceremony was held for the South Street Family Apartments in San Luis Obispo, 43 new affordable apartments for families with annual incomes at or below 60 percent of the county's median income. The $14.1 million project is being developed as a partnership between HASLO and ROEM Corp. The one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments will range from 570 square feet to 1,010 square feet. The project will add some much-needed workforce housing to the community.
